I would recommend this game to any who like top-down RC style race games.Welcome to the world of Mini Motor Racing X! Strap yourself in, or strap on your VR headset, and jump into a nitro fuelled world where little cars mean BIG fun! Spanning across reclaimed ruins and scorched outbacks through to rain soaked docks and sunkissed tropical islands - Mini Motor Racing X will take you on a micro driving journey across the globe like no other. Avoid cars like the Big Rig though, even fully upgraded they steer pretty badly and you won't win any races with them. UPGRADE the handeling first, then acceleration as this makes most cars tons easier to control. Use the stick, it allows minute steering adjustments without fear of going overboard.Ĭars start out controlling horrible as they all have un-upgraded stats - I went back to Beginner Cup with a new car and actually laughed at how bad the thing drifted around corners. I use analog stick steering - tried keyboard, tried the d-pad left/right steering and found them all to be inferior to the control of the analog stick. Later on graduate to the Touring and finally the Roadster. I recommend the Formula, Pickup, Hatchback and Sports as starter cars. Bear in mind that some cars DO NOT control well as they usually have really high stats in other places - like the Big Rig. The game controls fine once you get a certain amount of handeling upgrades for most cars. I've beat the Master Cup with pure golds on all 100 races. This is bad, I do not recommand it at all. I really couldn't play more than few minutes of this game, it just feels terrible from the start, and learning to decently drive in that game is a waste of time, since you're probably not going to find another person who's willing to go through that hell. Plus the fact, that you lose like 4/5 of your speed when you even slightly scratch the wall is really annoying. If you're trying to make a turn, you're going to have difficulties with that, since if you hold a dirrection a bit too long, and you'll spin out, or just slam yourself into the closest wall, and yet slightest tap doesn't cut it, so you have to hope you hit that 0.1ms long sweetspot. Even if it looks decent, the controls are terrible. Anyway, I want to hear your opinion, but heres my little review: I mean I hated Saints Row 2 for having bad vehicle controls, and that wasn't even a pure driving game. ![]() I would say, no personally, though it might be just me hating how this game controls (which is the most important aspect of the game for me).
